South of Bondi -  Surfing Coogee

Surfing Coogee can be hairy if it's big and often you'll find local guys out there with the skis towing in onto monsters.

More locals amidst a paddle session in swell that's bordering on towing support. I disagree with polluting the marine environment with jet skis and what not unnecessarily, but when you can't physically paddle into a wave, or you can get quadruple the rides within the same time frame, well, who's driving? I'm up for 10-1 rides.

Check out the movie below. There's not a whole lot of action, but imagine paddling over the top of one of these suckers only to see a monster clean-up set coming down on your ass. Trust me, it never looks NEARLY as big on film or in a surfing magazine as it does when you're actually out there paddling like mofo against a fast, strong moving body of water and feeling like a piss-ant about to get caned.
