Siargao Surf
Siargao surf and the island aaaaaaaaaah! It's an amazing place. Surfer's disneyland in tropics. I spent almost half a year there soaking up the pristine, uncrowded waves and the fantastic island culture. There are many resorts in Siargao that cater for the differing masses. If you're a surfer, then I recommend you stay at Oceans 101, and if you would prefer to stay somewhere with total creature comforts, then RAMBO's resort at around $200 USD per night is where you should be. Depending on your budget, you can stay in relative luxury, or simple accommodation. Generally the huts are made of bamboo, however, most of the estalishd resorts offer concrete rooms with airconditioning. One thing you will have to get used to in the more rustic areas, are the copius amounts of pigs and chickens which will wake you up in the mornings.
